Louisville, KY (January 6, 2021) – An automobile accident sent one person to a local hospital with injuries, according to local authorities. At approximately 7 a.m., on January 6, the Louisville Metro Police Department responded to the scene of an accident on Outer Loop.
Reports from authorities show that a male pedestrian was walking in the 6300 block of Outer Loop during the early morning hours when he was struck by a vehicle. The man was severely injured in the accident.
A vehicle passing through the area spotted the man injured along the side of the road. The driver stopped and rendered aid while waiting for EMTs to arrive. The victim was transported to the University of Louisville Hospital for the treatment of injuries. At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
