A motor vehicle accident on Tuesday claimed the life of one young adult while leaving two other victims injured. At approximately 4 a.m., on August 18, the Kentucky State Patrol responded to the scene of a crash on US Highway 460.
Reports provided by local news sources show that a 19-year-old woman from Georgetown was driving east on US Highway 460 when her vehicle was involved in a collision with two other vehicles near the intersection with Woodlake Road. The woman was left with fatal injuries following the collision. Officers responding to the scene of the accident located the woman and pronounced her dead at the scene.
The drivers in the other two vehicles both sustained minor injuries in the accident. Both victims were provided medical treatment at the scene of the accident. At this time, the Kentucky State Patrol is investigating to determine the cause of the crash.
