Louisville, KY (November 25, 2020) – A pedestrian accident reported on Saturday evening in Jefferson County claimed the life of one person, according to police. At approximately 6 p.m., on November 21, the Louisville Metro Police Department responded to the scene of a crash on New Cut Road.
Reports from authorities show that a pedestrian was walking in the 5200 block of New Cut Road, near West Kenwood Drive, when they were struck by a vehicle. The driver of the vehicle called for emergency medical assistance and waited at the scene until law enforcement arrived.
The victim was fatally injured in the accident. After arriving at the scene, medical personnel pronounced the victim deceased. At this time, the police in Louisville are investigating the accident.
