Louisville, KY (January 26, 2022) – Two people lost their lives as a result of a motor vehicle accident in the Louisville area. Just before 7 p.m., on January 22, the Shively Police responded to the scene of an accident on Interstate 264.
Reports from local authorities show that a collision involving three vehicles occurred on the eastbound side of the interstate in the area near mile marker 7.2. The incident prompted the police and firefighters to close off the roadway for several hours as they worked to clear the scene and investigate.
Two people involved in the accident suffered fatal injuries. The victims were identified as a 64-year-old woman and a 44-year-old man.
