Louisville, KY (May 5, 2021) – One man has lost his life following a motor vehicle accident in the Louisville area. At approximately 11:40 a.m., on May 3, emergency crews received the request for assistance at the scene of a collision on Louisville Road (US Highway 60).
According to reports provided by the Kentucky State Police, a 69-year-old man was driving a black Jeep SUV when his vehicle collided with a white Chevrolet sedan near the intersection of Louisville Road and the West Plaza Connector (US Highway 127 South).
The driver of the Jeep sustained severe injuries in the accident. He was rushed to Frankfort Regional Medical Center for treatment. However, authorities confirmed that he passed away from his injuries just after 1 p.m.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
