Louisville, KY (September 8, 2021) – At least one person has lost their life as a result of a motor vehicle accident reported in Bullitt County on Sunday morning. At around 8:05 a.m., on September 5, emergency crews were notified that their assistance was needed on-site at a collision on Interstate 65.
Reports from local law enforcement show that a collision involving three vehicles blocked the northbound side of Interstate 65 by Clermont Road. The incident caused moderate delays in the area near mile marker 113 as crews worked to clear the scene. The police and firefighters remained on-site for over two hours as they worked to clear the roadway and restore the flow of traffic.
Authorities confirm that at least one person passed away as a result of injuries sustained in this crash. At this time, the circumstances surrounding the accident are under investigation.
