Louisville, KY (October 21, 2020) – At least one person lost their life in a motor vehicle accident. Just after 11 p.m., on October 20, the Louisville Metro Police Department responded to the scene of a major motor vehicle accident on Dixie Highway (US Highway 31W).
Reports from local news sources show that a semi-truck and two other vehicles collided on the south side of Dixie Highway just before Muldrow. The crash caused extensive delays throughout the area.
Firefighters went to work on securing the area as medical personnel entered onto the scene to render aid to victims. At least one person involved in this accident sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene. At this time, the number of people who were injured in this accident is not available.
The police in Louisville are currently investigating the accident to determine its cause.
