Louisville, KY (October 7, 2020) – An automobile accident reported in Louisville on Sunday evening claimed the life of at least one person. On October 4, the Louisville Metro Police Department responded to the scene of a major motor vehicle accident on Crittenden Drive.
Reports show that a light-colored sedan was traveling on Crittenden Drive when it collided with a tow truck. The impact of the crash sent the tow truck off the side of the road where it crashed into a light pole.
The tan tow truck sustained extensive front-end damage in the crash. However, the sedan was completely destroyed. Emergency crews immediately secured the area to investigate the crash and remove vehicles from the road.
Medical personnel arrived at the scene to provide treatment to injured victims. Authorities confirmed that at least one person inside the sedan lost their life in the accident. Details surrounding the number of injured parties are limited at this time. However, the police in Louisville are investigating the accident.
