Louisville, KY (March 27, 2020) – On March 24, at approximately 9:30 p.m., the Louisville Metro Police Department responded to the scene of a devastating motor vehicle accident in Louisville.
Reports indicate that a male was traveling in a wheelchair around the area of Preston Highway, near Indian Trail, when he was struck by a southbound vehicle.
The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and cooperated with law enforcement.
The injured man was transported to the University of Louisville Hospital in critical condition. Sadly, he succumbed to his injuries after arriving.
At this time, the Louisville Metro Police Department’s Traffic Unit is currently investigating.
