Crestwood, KY (December 15, 2021) – An auto accident reported in the Crestwood area on Tuesday morning, December 14, has claimed one man’s life. At around 11:20 a.m., the Oldham County police responded to the scene of an accident on Interstate 71.
Reports from authorities show that a 39-year-old man was stopped in a Nissan Rogue on the interstate due to a collision that took place near Exit 14 on Interstate 71. For unknown reasons, an International box truck crashed into the rear of the Nissan. The force of the impact caused the Nissan to crash into the back of a semi-truck.
The driver of the Nissan sustained fatal injuries in the accident. Despite emergency crews rendering aid to the man upon arrival, he passed away at the scene. No other injuries were reported in this accident.
