Louisville, KY (July 9, 2020) – An automobile accident reported on Monday afternoon claimed one woman’s life in the Louisville area. At approximately 3:50 p.m., on July 6, officers from the Louisville Metro Police Department responded to the site of an auto accident on Dixie Highway.
Reports from LMPD show that a Chevy Camaro was turning onto Dixie Highway at the intersection with Shipley Lane when the vehicle was struck by a Ford F-150 pickup truck. The female driver of the Camaro sustained fatal injuries in the accident. Responding officers declared the victim deceased at the scene. At this time, investigations surrounding the cause of the collision are ongoing.
