Boone County, KY (April 28, 2021) – One man was severely injured as a result of a motorcycle accident in the Hebron area. At around 3:13 p.m., on April 27, the Boone County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene of an accident on Airport Access Road (Kentucky Highway 212).
According to reports, a 20-year-old female was driving a black Ford Escape on Airport Access Road. As she attempted to enter the eastbound Interstate 275 ramp from Airport Access Road, she struck a 2010 Honda motorcycle, which was driven by a 41-year-old man.
The impact of the crash caused the rider to be thrown from his vehicle, resulting in severe and life-threatening injuries. The injured man was airlifted via UC Air Care to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center where he was admitted in critical condition. The driver of the Ford was not injured in the accident. At this time, the circumstances surrounding the accident are under investigation with the Boone County Sheriff’s Office.
