Louisville, KY (June 24, 2020) – One man lost his life in a pedestrian accident on Monday evening, according to reports. At approximately 11:45 p.m., on June 22, the Louisville Metro Police Department responded to the scene of a collision in the 3300 block of Preston Highway.
Preliminary investigations show that a male pedestrian was attempting to cross the roadway when he was struck by a northbound vehicle on Preston Highway. The man suffered fatal injuries in the accident. LMDP arrived at the scene and pronounced the victim deceased. The area was immediately secured as the LMPD Traffic Unit began their investigation. Investigations surrounding the cause of this collision are ongoing at this time.
