Muldraugh, KY (May 27, 2020) – A two-vehicle collision that occurred on Tuesday afternoon claimed the lives of four people in Meade County.
At around 5:45 p.m., on May 26, the Kentucky State Police responded to the scene of a fatal motor vehicle accident on US-31W.
Reports show that a 2016 Chevy Equinox was traveling south along the roadway when it collided head-on with a 2003 Cadillac CTS near 362 North Dixie Highway.
The drivers of both vehicles, as well as a 12-year-old female inside the Cadillac, were pronounced deceased at the scene.
A 14-year-old boy inside the Cadillac was transported to the University of Louisville Hospital where he later passed away from his injuries.
A 7-month-old child in the Chevy was transported to Norton Children’s Hospital for treatment. At the time this post was written, the infant’s condition is unknown.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
