Dry Ridge, KY -Two Fatalities In Accident On Knoxville Rd

Dry Ridge, KY (March 11, 2020) – Two people were killed during a single-vehicle accident on Sunday, March 8th in Grant County.

Police and paramedics were dispatched to the crash site in the 3200 block of Knoxville Road at about 4:35 a.m.

At the scene of the accident, deputies discovered that a black 2007 Chevrolet pick-up truck had crashed through a fence and then overturned by the roadside. Both men died as a result of the collision.

A police report states that there were several hundred feet of skid marks leading up to the actual site of the wreck. The initial crash investigation indicates that excessive speed is a likely factor.

We would like to offer our deepest condolences to the families of the deceased victims, at this time.

Fatal Car Accidents In Kentucky

Serious car accidents happen every day in Kentucky. Statistics show that most people will experience one or more car accidents in their lifetime. Accidents involving a single vehicle usually prove that the driver of the vehicle is responsible for the crash. Maybe they were driving while distracted, under the influence, or using excessive speed. When a passenger is injured or loses their life in a single-vehicle accident, they or their surviving family members may be able to file a lawsuit for injuries and losses incurred as a result of that accident.
