Louisville, KY (April 22, 2020) – A motor vehicle accident late Sunday evening resulted in injuries. At around 9:35 p.m., on April 19, the Louisville Metro Police Department responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident in Jefferson County.
Reports indicate that a major motor vehicle accident occurred on Interstate 264 West near mile marker 11.4 at Freedom Way. The accident blocked all westbound lanes of the roadway, causing a sprawling delay in traffic as first responders tended to the injured.
At least one person involved in this collision was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
The LMPD is currently investigating to determine the cause of the crash.
