Louisville, KY (June 10, 2020) – A motor vehicle accident in Louisville on Tuesday resulted in serious injuries, according to reports. On June 9, the Louisville Metro Police Department along with firefighters and EMS responded to the scene of a major auto collision in the 4000 block of Taylor Boulevard.
Reports indicate that a red SUV and a dark-colored sedan collided along Taylor Boulevard at the intersection with Bluegrass Avenue. The impact of the collision sent the SUV up onto the curb, where it came to rest after colliding with a telephone pole.
The sedan flipped up onto its roof and landed on the sidewalk at the corner adjacent to where the SUV stopped. Firefighters had to extricate trapped victims from inside the SUV.
At least one person involved in this crash sustained serious injuries. The injured victims were transported to local hospitals for treatment. At this time, LMPD is investigating.
