Fatal Truck Accidents In Kentucky
Semi-truck accidents often result in severe and catastrophic injuries. In fact, more than 3,900 people lose their lives in truck collisions each year across our state. A fair share of victims end up passing away from accidents right here in our state. These accidents are often devastating, leaving grieving families to deal with sudden end-of-life arrangements and an array of unexpected changes. Unfortunately, many victims end up suffering fatal injuries as a result of another driver’s actions. Although we are continually enacting laws to protect motorists traveling throughout the state, we continue to see victims injured at an increasing rate. These incidents continue to increase in frequency and severity, leaving families throughout Jefferson County and the state of Kentucky to deal with the overwhelming consequences.
Nearly four out of every five accidents in the United States are a result of driver’s actions. When careless, distracted, and reckless drivers enter our roadways, they place other motorists at risk.
