Louisville, KY – Wrong-Way Collision On I-64

Louisville, KY (January 31, 2020) – Four people have been hospitalized following an early morning car accident in the west end on Sunday, January 26th.

Police reports state that the collision took place at about 3:25 a.m. when a car drove against oncoming traffic on the exit ramp leading to Interstate 264 E from Interstate 64.

The errant car, occupied by a lone male driver, crashed head-first into another vehicle.

The driver of the wrong-way car was transported to an area trauma center with injuries classified as life-threatening injuries.

The three occupants of the other vehicle were also taken to a local hospital, all with injuries believed to be non-life-threatening.
